The challenge
As Key Account Manager you define and drive the sales strategy. You develop an account plan for your customer and must be able to translate the marketing strategy towards specific sales actions. You are responsible for defining appropriate promotional activities for your customer with the support of the Marketing and Customer Marketing Departments.
Developing yearly sales forecasts, creating monthly action plans, evaluating the financial impact of forecasting and monitoring actual sales results vs. forecast are important aspects of your job. Based on these analysis you develop appropriate market approach actions. You manage directly your customer relationships, negotiation and deals in order to deliver and exceed your targets. Within Iglo you work cross functionally to develop our customers and grow their categories. All of this with a clear category vision.

The requirements
Our ideal candidate has 7+ years of professional experience in sales or combined sales & marketing management roles in FMCG. You have demonstrable experience of working with the Dutch grocery trade. You preferably have a proven successful track record in dealing with different sales customers / channels and in elaborating the appropriated product mix per retailer. Good experience of working cross-functionally within a focused category management structures is definitely a pre. Furthermore you need to have a clear track record of leading complex negotiations and you are able to position yourself on a strategic level, but also enjoy daily tactical operations. Most importantly, you must be able to operate smoothly in a sizable organization with complex decision taking processes.  You have a solid business background and understand the inner workings of a complex international organization. Finally you feel comfortable and can contribute to a high-energy, positive company culture.
